Hawai‘i To Make 10th Appearance In EasyPost Hawai‘i Bowl

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai‘i has accepted an invitation to the 2021 EasyPost Hawai‘i Bowl. The Rainbow Warriors (6-7) will represent the Mountain West and will face Memphis of the American Athletic Conference in the 19th edition of the EasyPost Hawai‘i Bowl. “On behalf of the EasyPost Hawaiʻi Bowl Executive Committee and ESPN Events, I’m pleased to announce the University of Hawaiʻi has accepted an invitation to represent the Mountain West in the 2021 EasyPost Hawaiʻi Bowl,” said EasyPost Hawai‘i Bowl Executive Director Daryl Garvin. UH will be making its 10th Hawai‘i Bowl appearance and playing in its 15th bowl all-time with an 8-6 overall record. Hawai‘i is bowl bound for the fourth consecutive season and fifth time in the last six years. Under the direction of second-year head coach Todd Graham, the Rainbow Warriors finished the season in a tie for fourth place in the MW’s West Division. Hawai‘i is among the nation’s leaders in takeaways (27) while defensive back Khoury Bethley is tied for the FBS lead with five interceptions. All-purpose back Calvin Turner, Jr., leads the team with 12 touchdowns. Owned and operated by ESPN Events, the EasyPost Hawai‘i Bowl will be played Friday, Dec. 24 at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex on the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa campus. Kickoff is 3 p.m. HT (8 p.m. ET) and the game will be televised on ESPN.
