Introducing our 2017 Miss Hawai’i Bowl, Bailey Lum

Say aloha to our 2017 Miss Hawai'i Bowl, Bailey Jada Hi'ilani Lum!

Bailey was born and raised in Kaneohe town and later moved to the beautiful island of Kaua'i, where she currently lives in Wailua Homesteads. As a proud alumna of Kamehameha Schools - Kapalama Campus, she recently graduated with honors with the Class of 2017. Currently, she is studying for her private pilot license. Soon she will be embarking on her journey to become a commercial pilot at ATP Flight School in Long Beach, California.

She grew up practicing the martial art of Tae Kwon Do and earned her black belt at age 10. Today, she volunteers her time at a small Tae Kwon Do school in Lihue by instructing classes comprising of children ages three and up. By doing so, she helps them grow more confident and self-aware. Some of her favorite activities to do around the islands are relax with her family at the Kaneohe Sandbar, eat an acai bowl from Kahuku Farms Cafe, and watch the sunset on the west side of O'ahu.

Bailey will be making appearances at various Hawai’i Bowl events during Bowl Week.
