(HONOLULU, HI) – The Hawai‘i Bowl Foundation is pleased to announce the return of its annual community fundraiser, Flavors Wine Tasting. This extraordinary wine tasting event will be held at the Pomaika‘i Ballroom at Dole Cannery on October 2, 2019 at 5:30 pm.
Now in its sixteenth year, Flavors has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local non-profit charities. More than seventy-five varieties of wines have been generously donated by Young’s Market Company, Tamura’s Fine Wine & Liquor, and Beverage Marketing & More. In addition to tasting a wide selection of wines, guests may sample an incredible array of pupu, enjoy live entertainment, and participate in silent and live auctions… all while supporting local charities.
Generously donated by local businesses, silent and live auction items include fabulous trips, hotel stays, sports memorabilia and more. Guests can bid on items knowing that their donations will go directly to those supporting our community.
“Flavors is one of the SoFi Hawai‘i Bowl’s most beloved tradition and it continues to assist the Foundation’s mission of supporting Hawai‘i non-profits,” shared SoFi Hawai‘i Bowl Executive Director Daryl Garvin.
“It’s incredibly heartwarming to see how the community continually supports our annual Flavors Wine Tasting event,” added Hawai‘i Bowl Foundation President Ernest Nishizaki. “And, we’re especially pleased that we are able to help carry on our Islands’ tradition of sharing and caring for local charitable organizations.”
